In today’s fast paced logistics environment, end-to-end visibility to receipts, inventory, and orders across the supply chain is essential to effective logistics management. Such visibility enables our customers to reduce inventory levels, improve fulfillment rates, and respond dynamically to changes in market demands.

iHub Solutions tailor our information systems to provide timely and critical business information to allow our customers to make informed, tactical decisions necessary to achieve their strategic goals. Our information system is built on the concept of an open system architecture, based on workflow and a virtual database, to integrate multiple commercial applications and solutions sets into existing business processes and legacy system environments.

Warehouse Management System

Our WMS is called iLEX (iHub Logistics Execution System) and is built in two-tier architecture. The WMS is able to communicate to Radio Frequency (RF) Base station for RF operations. It also supports Automatic Storing and Retrieving System (ASRS) by communicating to the ASRS controller or Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).

The client workstation on the network can communicate to the database server through database client in the client workstation itself.

The WMS basic interface solution is built on flat file interface mechanism. This solution can interface to any other external host system if necessary. Flat file solution is the most standard solution for interfaces, which is clear-cut and without interference to the structure of each system.

SAP Interface

As part of our IT strategy, we have developed several interfaces between the SAP System used by many of our MNC customers and iHub’s WMS Warehouse Management System.

With this SAP – WMS interfaces, we are able to derive the following benefits for our customers:

  • Seamless information flow between our customers ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) System and iHub WMS.
  • Reduction in data entry efforts and better data accuracy.
  • Automated workflow with increased productivity.
  • Better security and control with regards to goods receipts and issues transactions.

Besides SAP, we are also able to interface with other ERP Systems like Oracle, JD Edwards, etc. Some of the interfaces that iHub has developed are as shown in the table below.

Virtual Logistics System

iHub Solutions Virtual Logistics System is a web-based business interface for customers to manage their inventory and orders online in realtime. The VLS provides our customers with a customized web based inventory management control system designed to match your company’s specific requirements.

Besides inventory management function, the VLS provide customers with data analysis functions, Statistical and Historical Data and Results Reporting.

Online Delivery Orders

Online Delivery Orders is a free service that lets our customers submit their delivery orders through the web. This convenient web-based order entry system improves order accuracy, reduces cycle time and eliminates duplication of work. Web-based order entry allows orders to be placed 24/7 from any location worldwide.

Our proprietary data management system keeps track of the entire fulfillment process from order entry to confirmation of delivery. Customers using web order entry receive electronic shipment confirmation on their order status.

Our system is also able to offer electronic proof of delivery to reduce waiting time for return of documents.

Key Performance Indicators are quantifiable measurements, agreed to beforehand, that reflect the critical success factors of an organization. They will differ depending on the organization. A business may have as one of its Key Performance Indicators the percentage of its income that comes from return customers. A school may focus its Key Performance Indicators on graduation rates of its students. A Customer Service Department may have as one of its Key Performance Indicators, in line with overall company KPIs, percentage of customer calls answered in the first minute. A Key Performance Indicators for a social service organization might be number of clients assisted during the year.

Whatever Key Performance Indicators are selected, they must reflect the organization’s goals, they must be key to its success,and they must be quantifiable (measurable). Key Performance Indicators usually are long-term considerations. The definition of what they are and how they are measured do not change often. The goals for a particular Key Performance Indicator may change as the organizations goals change, or as it get closer to achieving a goal.

Biometrics

 

Biometric devices are an effective way of minimizing security breaches while providing a thorough and detailed audit trail. Unauthorized access becomes less of an issue over traditional swipe cards when using this technology.

This technology is also our way of tracking our internal staff in their execution of their daily tasks.
